Your adventure begins with an early morning flight from Addis Ababa to Gondar, the famed "Camelot of Africa." Upon landing, the rich historical tapestry of Gondar welcomes you as you embark on a scenic drive through Debark to secure your park permits. From Michiby Point, you set off into the heart of the Simien Mountains, trekking along rugged ridges that reveal breathtaking escarpment views and the playful antics of Gelada baboons. As the day draws to a close, you camp beneath a canopy of stars at Sankaber, savoring a satisfying lunch and dinner that fuel your spirit for the journey ahead.
