Your adventure begins in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s lively capital, where ancient traditions meet modern vibrance. Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, our Hoya Ethiopia Tour & Travel staff will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, embark on a guided city tour, exploring the National Museum, home to "Lucy"—the world-famous 3.2-million-year-old hominid fossil. Next, ascend to Entoto Mountain (3,300m), where a breathtaking panoramic view of Addis Ababa awaits. Visit St. Mary’s Church and Entoto Museum, home to Ethiopian royal artifacts and historical treasures.

After an early morning at Erta Ale, take one final look at the world’s longest-existing lava lake before descending back to Dodom, where vehicles await. From here, journey toward Lake Afrera, a remote saltwater lake famous for its healing hot springs.

At Afrera, enjoy a relaxing therapeutic bath in natural hot springs, surrounded by breathtaking desert scenery. Next, visit Ethiopia’s largest salt mining site, where vast pools shimmer under the relentless sun as workers extract pure crystalline salt using age-old methods.
