Simien Mountains National Park is UNESCO’s World Heritage Site.Jinbar waterfalls and the panoramic scenic views of Simien Mountains are a good break from the busy cities.Rising high above degraded landscape of deep gorges and valleys,they rank as one of the Africa’s most beautiful mountain ranges.A number of peaks reach above 4400 meter high and Ras Dashen the highest Mountain in Ethiopia. In the park a visitor can see some of Ethiopia’s remarkable plants and wild animals Endemic animals Gelada Baboon(Bleeding Heart Monkey), Walia Ibex,Neyala and Ethiopian Wolf.The big Lammergeyer(Bone Breaker ) is also found soaring over the valleys here.
